  1. I LOVE how organised you are! It is seriously awesome!
Im currently saving for a home loan/ house deposit and this has been so helpful to think about in terms of budgeting for this.. So thank you for sharing it with us all!
Cant wait to be in my own home and be as organised and smart as you! πŸ˜€ Xo

  2. hey ash loved the video, was very helpful πŸ™‚ in your video you mentioned you are really good at doing your food shopping, id love if you did a video on your normal shopping for the week this is something i always struggle with and can never stay in budget!!

  3. I needed this 😱 Thank you for being such an encouragement as I am about to budget for the month. Excellent advice ❀️

  4. How are you so organised! I wish I could be as organised as you! I'm only 18 and I'm struggling to live an 'adult' life on a part time/casual worker income. I'm desperate to save but I have necessary outgoing payments so its so hard to save.
Can you do a video on how you saved money when you and James were a lot younger like before you were married, or when you were only 19 with a new baby. Thank you

  5. Hey Ash. You can get just extras private health cover (we go through NIB) because our public health system as far as hospitals and urgent surgeries go is pretty fantastic.

It can work out better for you if your household income is a certain amount after the time you turn 31 or something.

Your a clever cookie. Keep up the awesome work πŸ™‚

  6. Loved the video! I'm a student in Sweden so it's a bit different with health insurance and we have free water and heating. Essentially we only pay rent/mortgage and electricity here but this was very helpful! ❀

  7. We are relatively poor in the states so when we get our tax income check back we treat ourselves to a trip for a years worth of hard work. That may be a day trip if we got less back and this year we got a lot more back so we are able to go to Disneyland for a week. awe live in California so we get a lot of discounts there as well. Thats our tip. Treat yourself with your tax check. At least a little bit.

  8. Awesome Ash!
We have been doing this for years – its so helpful to have separate, low fees accounts attached to your main account to transfer your savings and bills, etc into – so that it isn't easily accessible!! So many people we know don't do this and it is crazy to not!!

We have big goals this year and traveling is our main focus!!

Thanks for using your platform to teach people the importance of budgeting!! Looking forward to your next video <3

  9. Great video ash! You are a wise woman 😘We are on prepaid plans ( in nsw )we pay $20 each per month with Aldi mobile which saves us heaps and we never have to worry about going over. Having said that calls to each other are free and we don't tend to make a lot of calls so we have $75 to use on other calls, 1.5gb data and unlimited text and mms. Obviously i don't know how you use your phone lol but might be worth considering if you are looking to lower that cost πŸ™‚ tfs

  10. I feel so grateful for our amazing free medical care here in Nz (and for you in Australia) after reading some of these comments! Our only loan is our mortgage but we have 4 young kids and can only save a minuscule amount while I'm still at home with them, but we do try!

  11. Here in this video you look so much like Stephanie Lange! Make up expert – Also Australian I believe! A fellow YouTuber. :o) – ox Am (Amber)

  12. Money in your account is useless your better off putting all your savings into the redraw of your loan which brings down the interest payable on your loan and u can use it like a savings account at any time πŸ™‚

  13. You're awesome Ash! I love your finace videos πŸ™‚ I cant say that I put a really large amount of savings away each week because I dont earn enough while I am still at uni but every bit helps. Even if its only $150 πŸ™‚

  14. Just in terms of putting things into perspective, what is the minimum wage in Australia? How much does the average house go for? I live in Canada, so I just want to get a sense of these numbers to be able to compare to how much we earn here/have to spend. Great video with super helpful tips!

  15. This video is really helpful thanks a lot.

I absolutely love your makeup. You look gorgeous!❀️ purple tones suit you the best and also your manicure is very prettyπŸ’•

  16. I love this video! When I start earning I will defintely be using some of these tips πŸ™‚ You are so sweet and I love that you want the comments to be a place of constructive feedback to help people.
