  1. I especially enjoyed the short biography at the beginning of the tape of Mr. Fred Marcus who I knew when I worked as a lighting assistant for the studio in the mid 1980’s. I remember the big weddings at the Plaza and the Hotel Pierre in New York City and the small private affairs in Long Island and New Jersey, not to mention all the Jewish centers and golf clubs in the tri-state area where Fred was the exclusive in-house photographer. I remember working Tavern on the Green in Central Park, and a Calvin Klein party at the Water Club. Those who worked for Fred know he was a very demanding master photographer who always believed every picture could be improved in a variety of ways and was always looking for perfection in every shot, from the right facial expressions, to the correct lighting ratios. Congratulations on 75 years in business
